I need help Convincing my Parents to let me Join Ballet!?
Okay so basically I’m A okay for ballet other than one thing. . . The price.

So it’s 50 dollars a month. It’s something i’ve wanted to do ever since I was a little girl, but I was too afraid too. I have spent half of my life dancing around and pretending to be a ballerina.

Me and some girls did a dance off at a leadership program, I pretended to do ballet (It was probably nothing compared to what ballerinas can really do.) I just mocked what I saw on TV etc and from memory.

I won the contest! Not to mention I had to dance with my eyes closed (tis was the rule of the dance off).

I would LOVE to do ballet but it’s so expensive! I’m at the age where I can work to get some money, but jobs are limited.

Idk what to do!

Do you have any tips or ways to convince my parents? My mom says "we’ll see" , but it’s my dad that needs the convincing!

Plot: An artifact known as the “King’s Seal” is stolen during transport from the Soul Society by an unidentified Soul Reaper and two Arrancar resembling girls who control fire and lightning. During the attack, Toshiro Hitsugaya corners and seems to recognize the Soul Reaper, who immediately stabs him in the stomach. In the middle of battle, Hitsugaya abandons his post to pursue him and leaves his squad behind to fend for themselves. After the battle, The Soul Society suspects Hitsuguya of treason and orders his immediate capture. The whole 10th Squad is then put on house arrest at which time they can surmise whether or not the division should be abolished. With the whole of Soul Society looking for Hitsugaya, Ichigo as a soul reaper on patrol accidentally stumbles upon Squad 2 Captain Soifon while she is conducting an investigation of the transport site. Soifon informs him of the events happening in the Soul Society and dispels the kido surrounding them. As Soifon disappears with her crew, Toshiro makes his presence known and passes out in front of Ichigo and Uryu. Awakening in the Kurosaki residence, Toshiro refuses to explain what’s happening. In the midst of their discussion, Ichigo is attacked by the two arrancar before he can force the issue more. Toshiro escapes, continues to avoid capture. However, things only get worse when the Soul Reaper thief, identified as Former Soul Reaper Sojiro Kusaka also uses Hyorinmaru, a sword identical to Hitsugaya’s, to injure Shunsui Kyoraku. Toshiro’s capture is then made top priority and his execution is approved.

Do I have a legal case? Or am I at fault?
The radio in my car was going out and was not running to what I expected it to run. Therefore, I had taken the road of checking out salvage yards to find one. I went to one and they had a really nice looking radio and they wanted $100. I only had $80. They told me that I could give them the $80 and my radio for collateral and can take the new one and then come back the next day with my other $20 and can get my radio back. I thought they were doing me a favor and thought I’d have no reason to feel they were lying so I took them on their offer. They took my money and radio and gave me the "new" one and sent me on my way. I hooked it up to my car and the screen on the radio was old and not working. I tried to go back and tell them what was wrong with it and they told me "it must be your car. the radio works." and I was like no its not my car my radio worked better than this. Then they told me they were closing and to come back the next day and they will fix it, they walked me out and locked the door behind me. I called the next day and let them know I was on my way and they said alright. When I get there the doors are locked and then they won’t answer the phone. Finally I get them on the phone and they claim they don’t speak English.

So I was scammed out of $80 and my decent radio for a crappy one that I can’t even use because for security features is locked and the screen doesn’t even work worth a flip.

Do I have a legal case? or am I at fault and have to just learn from my mistake?
Oh and these people are Mexicans and I threated to get a lawyer involved and they got really nervous. I think they may be illegals. So I’m thinking if I get a legal thing going they may want to cooroperate or maybe flee.

What’s your advice? I’m just at a loss for words. I didn’t think they would really do this to me.

You have no case unless you have evidence of a receipt, contract, return policy, etc.. Because the legal system is a flawed invention.

If I were you I’d go vigilante and burn the damn yard down.

What is the proof that a god can't be all knowing, all loving, and all powerful simultaneously?
After all, while "all knowing" and "all powerful" may be considered objective standards (for the sake of argument), doesn’t "all loving" involve sufficient subjectivity such that a deity COULD be loving from the deity’s perspective even if someone else might disagree as to what is and isn’t loving. (For example, is JUSTICE — including punishments for evil — "loving"? Surely if justice and even strict punishments lead to a safer, more justice, and stable environment/society, justice — complete with stern punishments — could surely be considered loving, right? (Agree or disagree?)

Yes, I am very aware of the classic "complaint" about a deity having these omni-characteristics. But I’ve never found the "God can’t be all three at the same time" argument convincing. But if you think you can answer the question and convince me otherwise with sound reasoning, please do.

(The fact that you may hate the concept of god/God/gods for various other reasons is irrelevant to the question and rather boring — so please leave out the tired old rants and focus on the question, if you have the ability.)
